who is
OUR KINGS
OUR KINGS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization designed to empower, motivate and inspire young men of color to reach their full potential. We provide mentorship, resources and support to help our youth gain the skills and knowledge they need to be successful.
Through our workshops, seminars, and online programs, we are creating a safe space supportive environment for our kings to grow and thrive. We strive to be a beacon of hope and a source of strength for our community, and to provide a platform for our youth to become the leaders of tomorrow.

OUR VISION
By giving Black boys a space to be uplifted inspired and celebrated. They will become confident with themselves and know their self-worth. We also know that mothers of Black boys need a safe space to call community. Where they can get the encouragement and the support they need.
WHAT WE DO
OUR KINGS exists so that young Black boys can have a community where they can be recognized for the intelligent, unique, young men they are; supported in their efforts to navigate a world that marginalizes their importance; and treated with respect, as they learn how to lead themselves and their peers.

MOTHER & SON
BRUNCH
OUR KINGS “Hat and Bow Ties” mother and son brunch was created for all mother's of Black boys. The intention is to have an event where mothers of all ethnicities can gather together to celebrate the joys associated with raising a young Black KING. During this celebratory occasion, OUR KINGS spends the morning honoring special mothers, showcasing the talent and joys of many Black boys, and sharing insights with one another that will motivate, inspire, and provide confidence in motherhood. For the joyous Black boys connected with OUR KINGS, this event is a time to connect and have fun. While enjoying amazing food and festive music; the brunch is designed to promote the experience of raising a KING to have Black boy joy.
