What Community Means to OUR KINGS
At OUR KINGS, community is more than a word — it’s our way of life. It is the safe circle where young Black boys are uplifted, protected, and celebrated. Community means parents, mentors, and brothers standing shoulder to shoulder, creating an environment where every boy is seen, valued, and supported. It’s the heartbeat of our programs and the reason we exist. Community is our strength, unity is our power™ — and through that power, we build confidence, restore joy, and open doors of opportunity for our boys and their families.

1. CONNECTION– We bring families, mentors, and community business, organizations and boys together in spaces where belonging and brotherhood are nurtured.
2. CELEBRATION – We honor culture, leadership, and education by uplifting each boy’s gifts and achievements.
3. COMMIITMENT– We Walk beside our boys for the long journey, ensuring they know they are never alone in their growth or their dreams and their community stand beside them.
